Terry Napper Honoured with University of Alberta School of Retail Real Estate Award

Each year, the University of Alberta’s School of Retail recognizes a retail industry leader for their outstanding contributions and achievements. At the 2017 Thought Leadership Conference, Terry Napper was presented with the Real Estate Award in honour of his career achievements, leadership, and innovative thinking.

Over his 37 years in retail property management, Terry has earned a reputation as an innovator valued for his industry insights, relationship and team building capabilities. He has managed properties across Canada in Weyburn, Brantford, Nanaimo and Calgary. As the General Manager of the Chinook Centre in Calgary, AB, Terry oversaw the 2010 expansion which included the addition of a luxury brand wing to the shopping centre.

Currently, Terry is a key team leader for the $130 million dollar renovation and revitalization project at Londonderry shopping centre in Edmonton, AB which includes the addition of a new department store anchor, La Maison Simons. Additionally, Terry is the General Manager of Midtown Plaza in Saskatoon, SK.
